Corrections

Mistakes are fixed in the open, with a date.

If something on Sanctity is wrong, tell us. Here is how to report it, what happens to a correction, and how to challenge a line of the Constitution.

Report a mistake

A link and a source are enough for us to check it.

  1. 01

    Say where

Copy the link to the signal or the page. Every signal has its own link at the foot of its card.

  2. 02

    Say what is wrong

Quote the line, and say what it should say. A source that shows it helps most: a filing, a statement or the page itself.

  3. 03

    Send it to us

Write to hello@sanctity.ai, or use the contact page and choose "Something else" as the subject. We read every message.

What happens next

A correction is a dated note on the card, never a silent edit.

  1. We check what you sent against the sources.
  2. If the card was wrong, we correct it and add a note to the card with the date, what changed and why.
  3. The note stays on the card for as long as the card is on the site. A signal is never changed in silence.
  4. If the card was right, it stays as it is.

Corrected

An earlier version gave the wrong date for the filing. It was made on 3 November, not 4 November.

Constitution lines

Any line can be challenged, and every decision is published with its reason.

01

Answer its question

Lines are proposed from people’s answers, so a position you take counts toward which line is proposed. Every line names the question it came from.

02

Tell us what is wrong with it

Name the Article and quote the line. Say what is wrong with it: its words, its question, or what it leaves out. The Sanctity team decides whether a proposed line is adopted, and every decision, to adopt it or not, is published with its reason.

Every report, correction and challenge starts on the contact page.
